Creative Writing Exercises Using Prompts

Introduction

Posted by zoeforce on March 5, 2008

I am in love with writing exercise called word or picture prompts.  I plan to use this blog for those exercises, posting my two cents and vivid emotional showing detail.  I love descriptive creative writing and human emotion. 8-)

With my busy schedule I may not post every day, but I hope to post frequently.  I have a husband and 3 sons, I volunteer tutoring two days a week at the local school for 8 hours or more a week, I am working on my second sci-fi novel.  I help support people with Bipolar and other illnesses, and I belong to a couple different writing groups.  I have a few friends blogs to keep track of plus a couple of my own.  I also like to work with photography and photoshop pages.

I can not rave enough about the Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended software program.  The only things I have to nag about is the cost $999- and the fact that you need a greater degree of photoshop knowledge than the normal lay person is capable of grasping.  Thankfully my 17 year old is a whiz at photoshop because they teach it at school.  I had never heard the term rasterize until I used that software, but then again I haven’t used anything other than a Print Master program to make posters that look similar to photoshop pages.  Now, I need a new camera because the one I am using some of the pictures come out really grainy.

I may use my own photos for picture prompt creative writing and introduce you to my beautiful family and friends.
